We found out that the Tauern region has an old tradition in mining. Especially Gold mining. So the next day we went to visit the Tauern Gold exhibition, actually hosted in the basement of a building from the 18th century, only a few kilometers away.

After that, we visited the old water tower in the village of Winklern that hosted a mining crystal exhibition. Here I got the chance to make a few shots...
