Sunset in the Garden

It's OK to take some time and try to really appreciate the finest things in life - which are (almost always) free...

Cloudy Sunset

Managed to capture these in an ordinary (pretty dull) evening. Interesting thing is that this kind of images pass before our eyes almost every day... We're most likely just too busy, too bored or too ignorant to stop for only a few seconds and appreciate them...

Also placed these images in a Picasa Web Album...

Countryside...

A spring afternoon that gave us a reason to stand still for a few moments...

And here's the Picasa album with a few more shots:

Moving On...

Time is moving on without saying a word... I got to 75 "daily" photos and a lot of stuff happened in the meantime... it's always unbelievable how fast we're moving forward and how fast our experiences get archived as we discover new ones...

I'd like to present you with "Daily Photo # 75"
I decided to call it "seaside sunrise..." for obvious reasons.
seaside sunrise...

Now, if you have the time, here's a slide-show that contains these first 75 pics (needs Flash Player installed). Hope you do not get bored and hope you'll be checking the series again soon.

Still cold...

It's still pretty cold out and I don't have any recent images to show it...

However, I stumbled upon a couple of photos that my wife took with her mobile phone, from the car. That sun glare is pretty tricky, don't let it fool you... there were almost -20*C outside that day.

There's one more "hidden" one, here:

Winter Reloaded...

Who expected that a couple of snowy days was going to be it?
Not even close... winter is still in!

Here are some pics my wife and I took this weekend in Ludus, my hometown.
BTW, -10*C was not a very nice temperature to shoot outside :)
We would have captured a few more stuff if our hands weren't freezing on the camera.

More images here (started to take advantage more of my "Picasa Web Albums" folder)

November Sunset

My wife came home today and caught a great sunset. Thankfully, she took some great shots of it. I really like all the colors of the clouds. She said the shades kept changing every minute until the night fully settled in.
So, all credits (again) go to my sweet wife (also visible in the watermarks).

A morning rainbow and a nice sunset

In the morning I woke up and it was raining like hell... cloudy & all... it was pouring down and it looked like we were going to have a dark & nasty day... 30 minutes later the rain stopped as if by a press of a switch. The sun came on and I got to see one of the largest rainbows I've seen in reality. Nice...

Later that day... we were sitting in the balcony and the sky turned red... The sun was setting down, but this sunset kind of looked differently... Maybe it was related with the rainbow from earlier that day... who knows...

BTW... Posted these pictures right out of Google's Picasa (Image Handling application).
I kinda like it... feel free to use it, it's ...free Smile...

Moonlight

Tried to take some pictures of the moon.
Some of them came out pretty OK, you can see the crates on the surface.
However, some were pretty blurry, especially since I tried a lot of different camera settings. I liked this one in particular because it resembles a drawing or painting sketch... I did not change the picture at all... it's just as it came out of the camera.

Zborul...

In afara de asta, privelistea e grozava...

Low Clouds

These shots are from March 2007...

We went to my in-laws and while crossing the mountains, the sky felt so low... we couldn't resist taking a few shots.

And here is the entire album:
