There go the last days of winter! Spring will officially be in in tomorrow! I've kinda been waiting for it for a while now...

Delicate...

Was just playing around with the manual settings of the camera and took some shots of my wife's orchids...
Couldn't say why, but these flowers always make me think of the word "delicate"...

It's still pretty cold out and I don't have any recent images to show it...

However, I stumbled upon a couple of photos that my wife took with her mobile phone, from the car. That sun glare is pretty tricky, don't let it fool you... there were almost -20*C outside that day.

Ecclesiastical...

In January we went to a wedding - one of my best friends got married. The church where the ceremony should have taken place is under construction, so instead they got married inside a really small chapel, that serves as a temporary replacement. This chapel was decorated with modest but very beautiful (mostly hand-made) objects.

I was really impressed with the beauty that lies inside simplicity.
Took some shots and thought I should share some of them.
